Location

Kalipayan is situated in Coral Bay on the island of Popototan within the Calamian Group of Islands in Northern Palawan, the Philippines. There are two ways to get to the island:

Option 1: There are daily flights with Asian Spirit, Seair, Cebu Pacific, or PAL from Manila to Busuanga: approx. $US250 (round trip). The flight from Manila is 55 minutes which arrives at YKR-Busuanga airport, located in the middle of a large cattle ranch now held by the government’s Bureau of Animal Industry.  Land transfer to Coron town takes 45 minutes on a jeep shuttle service. A private air-conditioned van can be arranged at PHP 1,700 one-way. The boat transfer from Coron town to Kalipayan takes approx. 90 minutes. Boat rental is $US165 round trip.

Option 2: Take the overnight (12 hours) Superferry or Negros Navigation passenger ferry from Manila to Coron town and then transfer to boat for the trip between Coron town and Kalipayan (90 minutes). Ferry cabin class is $US135 per person (one way). Boat rental is $US165 round trip.
